Scorpio Szn And Pluto’s Move Into Aquarius

Some thoughts on the astrology and tarot of the moment

Scorpio Szn travels into Sag explosively with the Uranus moving into its new home Aquarius!

This depicts Pluto’s last pass in Capricorn as it enters Aquarius on November 19. My sketch shows Pluto, god of the underworld and its treasures and disruptive energy moving from Capricorn to Aquarius.

Pluto, its current timing and the influences we see from the past

A colored sketch of Pluto standing on a curved surface, meant to be the earth with one foot in Capricorn a fiery orang, and the other stepping into the territory of Aquarius a greenish black surface that seems like muddled green air and water.

This is a time to reflect on the future and the past.  How do we do that?  We first need to assess our present situation.  The Masterclass offering this month, Saturday Nov. 23 at 4 pm does just that.  It is called Ancestral Ties and Past Lives and we will start with where we are and then with creativity, intuition and activities and discussion, we’ll explore our connections to the past. My background as a psychotherapist with experience in family systems work introduced me to the idea that generations before us affect our situation and that how we live our lives affects generations yet unborn.  I’ve read or hear that indigenous Americans think in terms of how the past 7 generations affect the present ahd that we are responsible for thinking 7 generations ahead.  That is a strong mandate for us to understand our past and consider our future.

Pluto is an outer planet not always affecting us as individuals personally but affecting generations.  Following is a list of dates that show Pluto as it’s been moving over the past two years between Capricorn and Aquarius.  Take a look and consider not only what may be happening with you but what has been happening in the world and constructing an entire new generation as it will be in Aquarius until 2044.

Pluto has been jumping in and out for a year, finishing its Capricorn business and giving us a chance to get used to this transformation.

Here are Pluto’s transition dates.  Take a look and see if any pertain to changes and shifts in your life.

I’ve put in the dates of the Pluto shift as it’s been moving over 2023 and 2024.  Now, Nov 19 or 20, depending on where you are in the world, Pluto has arrived in Aquarius.

Pluto in Uranus has historically been in Aquarius at times of conflict between  rulers, kings, and their people, their constituents.

We’ve had many books about dystopian worlds.  People are concerned that these people, the writers, are prophets of the world like Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale, Orwell’s 1984 or his Animal Farm.  Even a more modern writer, Ernest Cline and his Ready Player One which was also a move.  Are these the scenarios that we have to look forward to?  Or will we write more promising stories of our future?  This question is open ended and yet t be seen.

The US was founded on principles that would maintain people, like you and me, in charge of the government. The Constitution and Declaration of Independence are aspirational.  They were written during a Pluto transit in Capricorn.  They followed the Boston Tea Party, whose motto was no taxation without representation.  A few years later in 1778 Pluto moved into Aquarius and within approximately 3 years the Americans were winning decisive battles to bring the Revolution to a close.

Perhaps this is a time, as we move into the month of Sagittarius to travel, maybe k to soutwardly and if not then inwardly.  I hope you’ll join us for the Masterclass, Nov 23 at 4p EST.

Tarot and its symbolism for our current time

The Tarot card associated with Pluto as ruler of Scorpio is the Death card.  Death in the spiritual world as interpreted in tarot is not about the physical death of an individual.  It is about transformation and the changes and shifts that take place as we open up and integrate parts of us we haven’t known.  This is about shadow work, ancestral work and the way it shapes and shifts us.

The Star card represents Aquarius. It’s about finding balance between stability and change.  The Temperance card is also about finding balance and harmony.

These are our tasks: finding balance and harmony as we move forward.

Please take a look at my offerings.  They may open you up to change and as an intuitive and with my background as a psychotherapist we can navigate some of these changes.

All the best,

Mera
